IFlow (SAP BTP Integration Flow)

Transport

An Integration Flow in SAP Business Technology Platform / Cloud Integration. An IFlow is a graphical / declarative integration pipeline — typically built in the SAP Integration Suite designer — that connects a source system to a target system via a series of transformation, routing, and protocol-translation steps.

AE Guardian's sap-btp connector consumes IFlows configured by the customer to expose SAP SuccessFactors, SuccessFactors Learning, and SAP Fieldglass data in a normalized REST surface. The AE side doesn't author IFlows — those are the customer's SAP-Integration-Suite admin's responsibility. AE consumes whatever the IFlow exposes.

IFlows can apply different authentication modes per step: OAuth 2.0 client credentials, SAML, API key, or Basic auth. This is why the SAP BTP connector documents support for all four auth modes — the customer chooses based on IFlow configuration.
