Access Level

Provisioning

The PACS primitive that grants a cardholder access to a defined set of readers, doors, areas, or floors — usually constrained by a schedule. Every enterprise PACS has this concept, but every vendor names it differently. Mapping the AE-side abstraction "Access Level" or "Access Area" to the right vendor primitive is one of the most common per-deployment configuration tasks.

- AE Guardian: Access Area (in PIAM); Role (in legacy guides) - Lenel OnGuard: Cardholder Access Level — assigned to badges via Change Badge Access Levels - Software House C·CURE 9000: Clearance (ACVSCore.Access.Clearance table) — joined to Doors via ClearanceItem records - AMAG Symmetry: Access Group (AccessGroupTable); supports composition of Readers, Reader Groups, Floor Groups, Intrusion Areas - Honeywell Pro-Watch: Clearance (CLEAR table) — three flavors: Permanent, Timed, Temporary - Honeywell Pro-Watch DTU REST: ClearCode (REST API term for clearance) - PACOM GMS: Global Access Group (GAG) for area access + Floor Access Group (FAG) for elevators; both permanent and temporary variants - Siemens SiPort: Profile - Genetec Security Center: Cardholder Group or Access Rule - Brivo Access: Brivo Role (provisioned via UserRoleData with role.id) - Avigilon ACM: Role (ROLE_NAME / ROLE_ACTIVE)
